About Us

About the Community Foundation of Fayette County

The Community Foundation of Fayette County (CFFC) was founded in 1999 by a committed group of Fayette County leaders. Their goal was to create a charitable foundation with a focus on Fayette County, in order to improve and enrich the quality of life for all residents and to assist the county’s nonprofit sector. The foundation is led by a volunteer board of directors and daily operations are managed by a small, professional staff.

Our Mission

The Community Foundation of Fayette County helps define charitable needs, connects donors with causes that matter to them, supports non-profit organizations and invests charitable assets to the community a better place to live.
